Appeal after break-in and theft of car in Stewarton
Detectives in East Ayrshire are appealing for information after a break-in and theft at a home in Stewarton.
The incident happened at a property on Fairways in the town around 2pm on Wednesday, 7 December.
Entry was forced to the property and a number of items stolen, including the keys for a black Audi RS4 estate car, registration E7 GJH, which was then taken from outside the house.
The vehicle remains outstanding and is believed to have been driven in the direction of the M77 following the break-in.
Enquiries are ongoing and officers are appealing for information in connection with the incident.
Detective Sergeant Sarah Holland of Kilmarnock Police Station said: “We would urge anyone who may have seen any suspicious activity around the area to get in touch.
“We would also be keen to speak to anyone who may have seen the Audi being driven on the road after the incident or who may have dashcam footage which could help our enquiries.
“Anyone who can help is asked to call 101, quoting reference 1706 of 7 December, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
