Witness appeal after car deliberately set on fire in Glasgow

Officers in Glasgow are appealing for information after a car was deliberately set on fire in the early hours of this morning.

It happened on Gifford Drive around 1am on Tuesday, 2 August, 2022.

There were no reports of injuries and the fire was extinguished by the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service.

Officers are treating the fire as wilful.

Anyone who saw what happened, has dash cam or CCTV footage of the area at the time or any information about the incident, is asked to contact police. You can call 101 quoting reference 0130 of Tuesday, 2 August. Alternatively, contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
