Appeal to Trace Missing Person Lesta Connolly
Police Scotland is appealing for information to help trace 85-year-old Lesta Connolly.
She left her home address in Broomhouse Place North, Edinburgh around 3.30pm and has failed to return.
She was wearing dark trousers, a white t-shirt with a black cardigan and looked quite smart. She is described as being 5 feet, 4 inches in height, very slim build and wearing glasses.
Inspector Chris Scott said: “We are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of Lesta who suffers from dementia. This is an extremely worrying time for her family and friends.
“Officers are carrying out extensive searches and reviewing CCTV in an effort to trace her but there have been no confirmed sightings.
“I would urge anyone who has any information on Lesta’s whereabouts or who has had contact with her to call Police Scotland on 101, quoting 3030 and Monday 22 August 2022.”
