Appeal for witnesses following thefts from trailers at Johnstonebridge, Lockerbie

Between 10pm on Thursday 25 August and 6am on Friday 26 August 2022 there was a high value theft from a trailer parked at Annandale Water Services, Johnstonebridge, Lockerbie. 

Additionally, between midnight and 2.30am on 26 August 2022 a number of trailers had their curtains slashed whilst parked at Lockerbie Lorry Park, near Johnstonebridge.

Detective Sergeant Kelly Douglas said: “We are appealing to members of the public who were in these areas at the time, if they saw any persons or vehicles acting suspiciously or have any dashcam footage which may assist with our enquiries, to get in touch.

“We would also like to appeal to members of the public, particularly lorry drivers, to report any suspicious behaviour of persons or vehicles to police as soon as possible so that we can take the appropriate action.
