Appeal for information following fatal road crash on the A90 near to Errol
Road policing officers in Tayside are appealing for witnesses following a fatal road crash on the A90 near to Errol.
The incident was reported to police at around 11.05am on Friday, 12 August, 2022 and involved a black coloured Nissan Micra motor car.
Emergency services attended and despite the efforts of rescue personnel a 32-year-old female passenger died at the scene.
The other four occupants a 29-year old man, a 20-year-old man, a 7-year-old girl and a 10-year-old boy were taken to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee for treatment.
The road was closed for around six hours to allow for full collision investigation to take place.
Police Sergeant Strachan of the Road Policing Unit said : “Our thoughts are with the family and friends of the deceased at this difficult time.
“We are conducting extensive enquiries into the circumstances of this incident and are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
“I would ask anyone who may have witnessed the collision, or who may have dash-cam footage to contact us as soon as possible.
“I would like to thank members of the public for their patience while we carried out our investigation into this serious collision.”
