Appeal following serious road crash on the A82, northbound near Tyndrum
Road policing officers are appealing for information following a crash on the A82 northbound on Friday, 19 August, 2022.
The incident happened around 11.05am a mile north of Tyndrum and involved a white Porsche GT3 which left the carriageway and rolled down an embankment.
The driver, a 50-year-old man, sustained serious injuries and was taken by heli-med to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow where his condition is described as stable.
The road was closed while crash investigation work was carried out and re-opened around 6.35pm.
Road Policing Officer Fraser Easton said: “Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances and I am appealing to anyone who may have seen the vehicle before the crash to get in touch.
“I am also asking anyone who may have dash-cam footage that could assist our enquiries to contact us.”
