Appeal following disturbance in St Enoch Square, Glasgow
Detectives in Glasgow are appealing for information following a disturbance in the city centre.
The incident happened around 8.25pm on Monday, 8 August, 2022, at St Enoch Square, Glasgow. A man was approached by a group of four men, one of whom subsequently assaulted him resulting in him sustaining facial injuries. He was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment and was later discharged.
The suspect then assaulted a second man within the foyer of Tesco at St Enoch Square.
The suspect is described as wearing a light grey tracksuit with a hooded top, a grey skip cap and grey and white trainers.
Following the incident, the suspect made his way across Howard Street and on to Fox Street.
Detective Constable Andy Reid, from Glasgow City Centre CID, said: “Our enquiries into the incident are ongoing. St Enoch Square was busy with members of the public at the time of this incident therefore I am appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information which could assist, to contact us.”
