Appeal following fatal road crash near Tarbet
Road Policing officers are appealing for witnesses and information following a fatal road crash on the A82 near Tarbet.
The incident took place around 4.15pm on Wednesday, 20 April, involving a motorcycle and a lorry.
We can confirm that the motorcyclist – a 31-year-old man – was pronounced dead at the scene. The lorry driver was uninjured.
The road remains closed between Tarbet and Inveruglas, as enquiries continue.
Sergeant Hugh Niccolls, from Dumbarton Road Policing Unit, said: “At this time, our thoughts are very much with the family and friends of the deceased.
“I’d like to thank the public who stopped at the scene and have provided statements to officers. We continue to appeal for any further witnesses to come forward.
