Two men charged following serious assault in Dumbarton

Police Scotland can confirm that two men have been charged in connection with the serious assault of two men which happened in Dumbarton.

The incident happened on Castle Street around 1.20am on Sunday, 12 September, 2021, when two men, aged 57 and 58, were assaulted as they walked along the street near to the Lidl car park.

Two men, aged 58 and 18 have been charged in connection with the incident and are due to appear at Dumbarton Sheriff Court on 20 October 2021.
