Detectives are appealing for information after two men were seriously assaulted on Sauchiehall Street, Glasgow.
The incident happened around 00:20 hours on Sunday, 1 August 2021 on Sauchiehall Street between the Holland Street and Pitt Street junctions. The two men, aged 23, were approached by a group of three men and were assaulted causing serious head injuries for both.
Emergency services attended and the two men were taken to hospital. They have since been released following treatment.
The matter was reported to police on Thursday, 26 August, 2021.
The first suspect is a white male, in his late teens to early 20s, with a stocky build and wearing a dark puffer jacket.
The second suspect is a white male, late teens to early 20’s, with dirty blond hair and wearing dark blue jeans and a white Palm Angels t-shirt
The third suspect is a white male, late teens to early 20’s, wearing light joggers and a dark t-shirt.
Detective Constable Andy Reid, from Glasgow City Centre CID, said: "This was an unprovoked attack on two young men enjoying a night out in the city centre. The assault has left the victims with serious injuries. I am appealing to members of public to get in touch if they were in the area at the time of the incident and may have witnessed the assault. I would also like to speak with a man who was pushed off of a bench near to where the assault took place by two of the suspects."
