Man sentenced for causing two deaths by careless driving
Logan Russell has been sentenced to 42 months imprisonment today after pleading guilty to causing the death of two people by careless driving.
Ethan King and Connor Aird died following the collision that happened on the A915 Standing Stane Road near #Kirkcaldy on 11 November, 2018.
Following today's sentencing, Fife Road Policing Inspector Darren Cook commented: "The collision that claimed the lives of Ethan King and Connor Aird is tragic and every parent's worst nightmare. The fact it was avoidable makes it all the more heart-breaking.
"Driving under the influence of alcohol has devastating and lasting consequences and this case highlights the reality that such decisions have. Taking someone's life should be enough of a deterrent against drinking and driving."
