Man pled guilty to the attempted murder, abduction and assault of a man at Edinburgh High Court

Dylan Rigby (20) pled guilty at Edinburgh High Court today (Wednesday, 30 September, 2021) to the attempted murder, abduction and assault of a man.

The incident happened at Kidlaw Court in Edinburgh on Sunday, 21 March, 2021.

Detective Inspector Jonny Wright of Gayfield CID, Edinburgh said :

"This was a significant crime involving deplorable levels of violence committed by Rigby. Thankfully, incidents of these nature do not happen often in Edinburgh. My thoughts continue to be with the victim in the case. Rigby will now face justice for his actions, which will hopefully contribute to bringing some closure to the victim.”
