Man charged in connection with Airdrie serious assault
Police Scotland can confirm that a 31-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the serious assault of a 52-year-old man in Airdrie.
The incident took place in the Stirling Street area, on Saturday, 12 June.
The man is expected to appear at Airdrie Sheriff Court at a later date.
Detectives continue to appeal for any information which could help trace two women also allegedly involved in this incident. They are both described as being white Scottish, between 14 and 16 years old and of slim build.
