Appeal following serious assault in Buchanan Street area, Glasgow
Detectives in Glasgow are appealing for information and witnesses following a serious assault, which took place in the Buchanan Street area at the weekend.
The incident happened between Mitchell Lane and Gordon Street, around 10.20pm on Saturday, 25 September.
The victim, an 18-year-old man, was attacked by a man, before being taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment.
The suspect is described as a white man, around 18-years-old, around 5ft 10 with a skinny build and medium-length dark hair. He was wearing a black hooded and padded jacket, light grey shorts and white trainers.
DC Matthew McCann, from Greater Glasgow CID, said: "This was a violent attack which resulted in serious injury to the victim.
“At the time of the incident, we know Buchanan Street was extremely busy with members of the public, so are asking for anyone who was in the area and witnessed anything to please come forward.
