Appeal following robbery in the Milton area of Glasgow
Police in Glasgow are appealing for information following a robbery in the Milton area of the city.
The incident happened around 0.30am on Monday, 27 September, 2021, when two men threatened staff at the Esso Londis on Balmore Road. A three figure sum of cash was taken along with a quantity of cigarettes.
The men were seen heading in the direction of Ashgill Road. The first man is described as white, around 30-years-old, of average height and of stocky build. He was wearing a light grey hooded top with a blue logo, dark grey Nike jogging bottoms, black trainers, a black skip cap, black glove and a black face mask.
The second man is described as white, also around 30-years-old and of average height, and of slim build. He was wearing a black rain jacket, black tracksuit bottoms with a red and white vertical stripe on the leg and a blue and white face mask.
Detective Constable Fiona MacKenzie said: “Fortunately no one was injured but this was a terrifying experience that left a member of staff fearing for her safety.
"I am appealing to anyone who may have been in the area both before and after the incident to get in touch. Similarly, if you have dash-cam footage that may help with our investigation then please contact us.
