Appeal after two men assaulted in Paisley
Police in Renfrewshire are appealing for information after two people were assaulted in Paisley.
The incident happened on Tannahill Road around 10.50pm on Thursday, 16 September.
An unidentified man has confronted and assaulted two men, aged 26 and 18 before running off on foot in an unknown direction.
The suspect has not been described by witnesses.
Detective Constable Robert Young of Paisley CID said: “Two men have been injured and this would have been a frightening experience for everyone involved.
“Extensive enquiries are ongoing to identify the persons responsible, including reviewing CCTV from the area.
“Anyone who believed they may have information which could help to identify the person involved or who was in the area at the time of the assault is urged to contact police as soon as they can.
“I would also encourage anyone who may have been driving in the area and recording via a dashcam device to check your systems for relevant footage.”
