Over £445,000 worth of drugs recovered in Edinburgh
Over £445,000 worth of drugs have been recovered as part of an operation in Edinburgh.
Officers executed a warrant within a property on Sciennes around 10.40am on Wednesday, 6 October. Drugs believed to be heroin, crack cocaine and cannabis were found with an estimated street value of £445,900.
Three men - aged 19, 24 and 26 - have been arrested and charged in connection with the incident. They are due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court today (7 October).
Detective Inspector George Calder, based at Corstorphine, said: "Removing almost half a million pounds worth of drugs from our streets is a positive for the community and surrounding areas.
