Man charged in connection with the attempted armed robbery of a shop in Aberdeen

Police Scotland can confirm that a 21-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the attempted armed robbery at a convenience store in Garthdee, Aberdeen.

The incident happened shortly before 8pm on Monday, 20 September, 2021 at the Gaitside Stores premises on Gaitside Drive.

He is expected to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Tuesday, 5 October 2021.
