Man arrested and charged following an attempted murder in Glasgow

A man has been arrested and charged following an attempted murder in Glasgow.

The incident happened around 11.45pm on Friday, 8 October, at a bus shelter just outside of Bar Burrito on Hope Street. A 60-year-old man sustained serious injury and was taken to hospital, where he remains critical.

Detectives would like to thank the public for their assistance with this investigation so far. The 50-year-old man is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Tuesday, 12 October.
