CCTV images released in connection with incident in Argyle Street, Glasgow

Police Scotland has released CCTV images of a man they believe may be able to assist them in relation to an ongoing enquiry into a serious assault which occurred at around 00.15am on Monday 26, July, 2021, outside the KFC premises on Argyle Street, Glasgow City Centre.

The male, who officers believe may be able to assist, is described as white, medium build with short brown hair and was wearing a light-blue football top, blue jeans, and white trainers.

Detective Constable Mark McCallum said: “Since this incident took place we have been conducting a number of enquiries and are now seeking assistance from the man shown in the images and would ask him to come forward and assist us. If you can help us identify him, please contact officers as soon as possible”.

Those with information should contact Police Scotland via 101 and quote incident number 0047 of 26 July 2021. An anonymous report can be made to the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
