Appeal following serious assault in Shotts
Detectives in Lanarkshire are appealing for information following a serious assault in Shotts.
The incident happened around 3.30am on Sunday, 3 October, when a 26-year-old man was walking along Easter Road when he was attacked by a male.
The 26-year-old sustained a serious head injury and was taken to University Hospital Monklands for treatment.
Detective Constable Scott Johnston, of Lanarkshire CID, said: “We are keen to speak to anyone who was in the area around the time of the incident or may have dashcam footagewhich could assist our investigation to get in touch.
