Appeal after attempted robbery at shop in Glasgow
Officers in Glasgow are appealing for witnesses after an attempted robbery at a shop on Clarkston Road.
The incident happened shortly before 11.55am on Saturday, 27 November.
An unidentified man threatened a member of staff at the checkout before attempting to gain access to the till.
He subsequently left the shop on foot empty handed.
The male member of staff was checked by the ambulance service at the scene.
The man is described as being white, in his mid-twenties and wearing a green and white tracksuit.
Constable Sarah-Lee MacFarlane of the Greater Glasgow Community Investigation Unit said: “Our enquiries into this incident are ongoing and I would urge anyone who may be able to help to get in touch.
“We would also be keen to speak to anyone who may have dashcam or private CCTV footage from the area.
