Update - Motorcyclist dies following crash in North Ayrshire

A 54-year-old man who was seriously injured in a crash on the B777 on Thursday, 29 April, 2021, has died from his injuries.

The man, whose red Honda struck a tree after leaving the road a short distance south of the junction with the B775 for Lugton, was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where he died on Saturday, 1 May.

Enquiries into the incident are ongoing and anyone with information that could help is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting incident number 0774 of 29 April.
