Statement issued by family of man who died on the A199
The family of a man who died in a road crash on the A199 has released a statement through Police Scotland.
William French, 48 and known as Billy, died following the crash which happened around 7.55pm on Saturday, 15 May near Haddington.
He was the driver and sole occupant of a Vauxhall Combo van. No other vehicles were involved.
In a statement his family said: "Billy was a much loved son, brother and uncle who will be sorely missed by his family and friends. The family would like to be left to grieve in private at this difficult time."
