Man convicted of the murder of Kirsty Robertson in Ayr
A 30-year-old man, David Hose, was today (Tuesday, 25 May, 2021) convicted at the High Court in Glasgow of the murder and rape of 29-year-old Kirsty Robertson in Ayr.
The incident took place at an address on Fulshaw Place, Ayr, on Sunday, 20 October, 2019.
Hose was also convicted of the rape of a woman in June 2017.
Detective Inspector Fraser Normansell, Senior Investigating Officer from the Major Investigations Team, said: “My thoughts remain with the family of Kirsty Robertson, including her two young children at this time, but I hope that the fact that David Hose has now been found guilty will afford them some sense of justice.
“I would like to take this opportunity to thank members of the community who came forward with information and assisted with our investigation.”
Hose is due to be sentenced on Monday, 21 June.
