Man charged in connection with assault, Bonkle Road, Wishaw

Police can confirm that a 37-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with an assault with the intent to rob in Wishaw.

It happened around 7.30pm on Thursday, 29 April on Bonkle Road in Newmains.

A report has been sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
