Cannabis cultivation discovered in Jean Street, Port Glasgow
Police Scotland recovered a quantity of cannabis plants after a drugs search warrant was executed in Port Glasgow on Tuesday, 11 May, 2021.
Officers attended at Jean Street and recovered cannabis plants with an estimated street value of over £123,000.
A 26-year-old man has been arrested and charged and is expected to appear at Greenock Sheriff Court today (Thursday, 13 May, 2021).
Chief Inspector Paul Cameron, Area Commander for Inverclyde said :
“This was excellent work by Inverclyde’s local Community Policing Team.
“We continue tackle the production and sale of drugs across Inverclyde and I would encourage anyone with any concerns about suspicious activity in their area to contact us. The information we receive from the public is vital and allows us to carry out enforcement activity.
