Appeal for witnesses following serious crash, Mastrick Road, Aberdeen
Officers in Aberdeen are appealing for witnesses following a serious road crash on Mastrick Road this morning.
It happened around 5.20am, on Sunday, 23 May, and involved a white Yamaha motorbike.
As a result of the crash a 41-year-old man, the motorcyclist, was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary with serious injuries, where he remains in a stable condition.
The road was closed for short time and reopened around 8.45am.
Sergeant Peter Henderson of the North East Road Policing Unit said: “Enquiries into the crash are ongoing and I would urge anyone who saw the motorbike, either prior to the collision, or anyone who may have witnessed what happened, and has not already spoken to police to contact us.
“Similarly, anyone who was in the area and recording via a dashcam, please check your device for any footage which may be relevant to our investigation.”
