Appeal for information following vehicle fire in Fort William
Officers are appealing for information following a vehicle fire in Fort William.
Around 1115pm on Thursday 20 May, 2021, police received a report that a vehicle was on fire within the car park of a hotel in Parade Square, Fort William.
Initial enquiries indicate the fire was set deliberately. No-one was injured in the incident.
Officers are appealing for anyone who was in the area, between 10.30pm and 11.30pm, who may have seen anything suspicious to contact them. In particular, motorists with dash cams are asked to check their footage as they may have captured images which could assist with the investigation.
