Man seriously injured after being struck by a car in Glasgow
Police in Glasgow are appealing for witnesses after a man was injured after being struck by a car in the city.
The incident happened shortly after 6.25pm on Monday, 8 March at the junction of Hollybank Street and Kintyre Street.
The 29-year-old man was struck by a car and was subsequently taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment to serious injuries.
The car made off along Kintyre Street and then towards Royston Road.
Officers believe the man was deliberately struck by the vehicle and are treating the incident as attempted murder.
Detective Sergeant Stephen Palmer of Maryhill Police Station said: "Our enquiries are ongoing and we are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this incident to come forward.
"We would also be keen to speak to anyone who may have dashcam footage or private CCTV from the area to get in touch.
"Anyone with information can contact police by calling 101 and quoting incident 2635 of 8 March or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
