Man named following fatal crash in Castletown, Caithness
Police Scotland can confirm the identity of a 30-year-old man who died following a road crash in Castletown.
He was Marc Mackenzie from Castletown.
The single motorcycle crash happened sometime after 3am on Sunday, 14 March, on the A836 Main Street and involved a black Aprilia SX125 motorcycle. Mr Mackenzie was pronounced dead at the scene.
Road Policing Sergeant Kate Park said: "Our thoughts remain with the family and friends of Mr Mackenzie at this difficult time.
"Our investigation into the incident continues and I would urge anyone who witnessed the crash or saw the motorcycle prior to the crash to get in touch."
