Man arrested and charged following drugs recovery in Lanark
Around 09.30am on Tuesday, 30 March, officers searched a house in Lanark and recovered a quantity of drugs believed to be Diamorphine with an estimated street value of £44,000.
A 40- year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with this recovery. He is due to appear at Lanark Sheriff Court at a later date.
A full report will be forwarded to the Procurator Fiscal.
Detective Sergeant Graham McAdam said: “Drugs have no place in our communities and we work every day to target those involved in drugs supply, to gather intelligence and target offenders.
