Male youth charged in connection with Glebe Road incident in Kilmarnock

A 16-year-old male youth has been arrested and charged in connection with an incident in Kilmarnock in which a 56-year-old man sustained serious injuries.

The incident happened on Glebe Road around 9.35pm on Thursday, 18 March. The 16-year-old is due to appear at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court on Monday, 29 March.

Detective Inspector Andrea Templeton said: "We continue to conduct enquiries into the incident and anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101, quoting reference number 3831 of 18 March."
