Cannabis worth around £250k recovered on the M74
Cannabis with a street value of around £250,000 has been recovered following an intelligence led search of two vehicles on the M74.
The cars was stopped by officers northbound on the motorway near Abington around 11.40am on Wednesday, 3 March.
Two men, aged 37 and 40, have been arrested in connection with the recovery.
The 37-year-old has been charged and is due to appear at Airdrie Sheriff Court on Thursday, 4 March, 2021
The 40-year-old has been released pending further enquiries.
