Appeal following assault in Fraserburgh
Police Scotland is now appealing for the help of the public following an assault in Fraserburgh.
A 15-year-old male was on St Andrews Drive, around 9.30pm on Sunday, 7 March, 2021, when he was assaulted by a man who also tried to steal property from him.
The man is described as wearing a black top and grey bottoms.
Enquiries are ongoing and officers are now appealing for anyone with information which may assist them to get in touch.
Detective Constable Tracy Loughhead from Ellon CID said: "Thankfully no-one was injured during this incident and enquiries are ongoing.
“Our officers have carried out a number of enquiries, including reviewing CCTV and going door to door, however we would appeal to anyone who has any knowledge of the incident or any information which may assist to contact us.
“In particular, I would ask anyone who was in the area at the time and may have seen the suspect to come forward and assist our enquiries."
Additional patrols will be in the area to provide reassurance to members of the public.
