Wilful fireraising in Hugo Close, Maryhill, Glasgow
Detectives are appealing for information after a car was set on fire outside a house in Maryhill on Tuesday, 22 June.
Around 12.40am on Tuesday, 22 June, two men approached the driveway of a house on Hugo Close in Maryhill and set a Volkswagen Golf on fire. The fire caused extensive damage to the car and also damaged another car next to it.
Detective Constable Holly Canning said: “Luckily no-one was injured during this incident and our investigation is continuing to establish more details. We have been carrying out enquiries and checking local CCTV for more information on the two men responsible for setting this fire. They were both wearing grey hooded tops and I would appeal to anyone who saw them acting suspiciously in the area to contact us.
