Appeal for information after 18-year-old man assaulted in Fort William
Officers in Fort William are appealing for information after a serious assault in that area.
On the evening of Friday, 18 June, 2021, an 18-year-old man was assaulted when he was struck on the head with a bottle. The incident occurred near to the Ben Nevis Holiday Park, Camaghael, Fort William.
The matter was reported to police the following day on Saturday, 19 June, 2021.
Officers are checking for any relevant CCTV footage from that area for any further details on what happened.
Sergeant Brian Heriot said: “From enquiries carried out so far we have established there were several people in the area that evening. I am appealing to those local residents and members of the public who were there to contact us. Any small piece of information could prove significant as we work to establish the person responsible for this attack. If anyone has dash cam footage, please check it as that too could aid our enquiries.”
