Detectives appeal for information on Ford Fiesta car following serious assault in Irvine
Detectives investigating the serious assault of a 58-year-old man in Irvine are appealing for information about a dark-coloured Ford Fiesta car.
Around 9.50pm on Saturday, 5 June, 2021, four men, dressed in dark clothing, showed up at a house in Caldon Road, Irvine and assaulted the 58-year-old man.
Enquiries carried out have established a dark-coloured Ford Fiesta car was in Caldon Road between 9.40pm and 10pm that night.
Detective Inspector Stephen McCulloch said: “I am appealing to people who were in the area around 9.40 and 10pm, in particular, motorists and taxi-drivers who may have dash cams. Please check your footage as you may have captured an image of the Fiesta which could assist us in our investigation. A man has been seriously assaulted and we need as much information as possible to establish why he was attacked. If you have any information, please do pass it on.”
