Appeal following serious assault, Summerhill Way – Bellshill, North Lanarkshire
Detectives are appealing for information after a man was assaulted in Summerhill Way at the junction of Caledonian Avenue in Bellshill, North Lanarkshire.
The incident happened around 4.10pm on Tuesday, 15 June, when a 35-year-old was approached by three others. He was treated at Wishaw General Hospital for a serious facial injury.
Officers are keen to speak to three teenage boys, aged around 16, who may be able to help with their enquiries. All were around 5ft 9ins. One was of a heavy build and wearing a blue t-shirt.
Detective Constable Graeme Stoddart, of Wishaw CID, said: “We would like to speak to anyone who may have been in the area at the time of this assault. In particular three teenagers as they may be able to help with our investigation.
“Anyone who can help is asked to call us on 101, quoting incident number 2437 of Tuesday, 15 June, 2021, or make a call anonymously to the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
