Appeal following Paisley serious assault
Detectives in Paisley are appealing for information after a man was found injured in the Clarence Street area today (Thursday, 10 June).
Police were called to the area at around 1am this morning and the 28-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment, before being released. Enquiries into the serious assault are ongoing.
Detective Constable Dougie Macfarlane, from Paisley CID, said: “Thankfully, the man did not require any extensive treatment, but this is an incident that could quite easily have turned much more serious.
“I am appealing for anyone in the Clarence Street or Seedhill area of Paisley, who may have seen anything suspicious in the early hours of this morning, to please come forward.
