Appeal following assault of teenager, between Fleming Way and Ness Gardens, Invergordon
Police in Invergordon are appealing for information following an assault in the area.
It happened around 8.45pm on Monday, 28 June, in the alleyway between Fleming Way and Ness Gardens and involved a 14-year-old teenage girl who was approached by two unknown older women and a teenage girl and assaulted.
The girl suffered minor injury and was taken to Raigmore Hospital for treatment before later being released.
The first of the two older women is described as being around 60-years-old, of a slim build with grey hair and the second is described as being around 40-years-old, of a heavy build with brown medium length hair.
Inspector Joanne Thomson of Alness police office said: “This was a frightening experience for the girl involved who, thankfully, did not suffer serious injuries.
“Enquires to establish the circumstances of this incident are ongoing and we are appealing to anyone who may have been in the area and may have seen anything to get in touch.
