Two men arrested following Operation Designate drugs recovery in Lugar, East Ayrshire
Drugs with an estimated street value in excess of £350,000 have been recovered in East Ayrshire.
About 9.30am on Tuesday, 27 July, Proactive Crime Team officers searched a house under warrant in Lugar, East Ayrshire. Officers recovered a quantity of drugs, believed to be Cannabis with an estimated street value of over three hundred and fifty thousand pounds (£350,000).
Two men aged 29 and 33 years were arrested and charged in connection with the recovery. They were due to appear at Ayr Sheriff Court on Wednesday, 28 July. A full report has been forwarded to the Procurator Fiscal.
Chief Inspector Nathan Calderwood of Ayrshire Division said, "We know that our communities are concerned about drug dealing and we are committed to tackling the supply of drugs"
