Officers appeal for information after attempted robbery in Larkhall
Officers are appealing for information from the public after a man attempted to rob a bookmakers in Larkhall last night.
Around 9.25pm on Friday, 2 July, 2021, the man entered the premises on Union Street, Larkhall and demanded money before leaving empty handed.
The suspect is described as white, with a skinny pale face and a had local accent. He was wearing a green parka jacket with fur around the hood and had gloves on.
Detective Inspector Susie Cairns said:
“Although nobody was injured during this incident, it was terrifying for those who were working there.
“We are appealing for anyone with any information about this incident to get in touch with us. It has been really hot recently and therefore it may have looked out of place to see a man wearing a jacket and gloves, think back? Did you see him in the area at the time?”
