Message from the Scottish Police Memorial Trust - Service of Remembrance 2021
The annual Scottish Police Memorial Trust Service of Remembrance is a significant and important event for family, friends, and colleagues to join us in dedicated commemoration of the lives and service of our officers who have tragically died while on duty.
Having considered the continuing impact of the coronavirus and associated restrictions, and following consultation with Scottish Police Memorial Trust co-founder Christine Fulton MBE, and Chief Constable Iain Livingstone QPM, we have reluctantly taken the decision that this year’s annual Service will again be held virtually, on 1 September 2021. This reflects the importance of continuing to mark this poignant day during these unprecedented and challenging times.
As such, we will post a link to the “virtual” Service and provide details of how to view this event on the Scottish Police Memorial Trust Facebook page, @ScotPolMemorial on Twitter and via the Police Scotland website.
