Man charged with drugs offences in Glasgow
A man has been charged in connection with drugs offences after a large quantity of cannabis has been recovered in Glasgow.
On Monday, 26 July, 2021 officers from Greater Glasgow Proactive Unit and Road Policing Unit stopped a car in Deanston Drive in Glasgow and recovered cannabis worth around £10,000 and four-figure sum of money.
On the same day, a drugs search warrant was executed at Walton Street in Glasgow, where officers discovered cannabis worth approximately £370,000 cannabis and five-figure sum on money.
The 30-year-old man will appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Tuesday, 27 July, 2021.
Detective Inspector Alan Ferguson of Great Glasgow CID said :
“Removing drugs from our streets continues to remains a priority for officers. I would ask anyone with any information about drug activity in their area to report this to us so that we can investigate thoroughly.”
