Further update – Missing person George Critch, Inverness

Police Scotland can now confirm that the body of a man found near to Great Glen Way, within Craig Phadraig Woods, Inverness, on Wednesday, 7 July, has been formally identified as 63-year-old George Critch.

His family have been informed and request that their privacy is respected at this difficult time.

There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances and a full report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
