Cocaine and cannabis worth more than £140k recovered in Carluke
Cocaine and cannabis worth in excess of £140,000 have been recovered following a search of a property in Carluke.
Officers attended the property at Unitas Crescent shortly after 6pm on Thursday, 8 July.
Drugs with an estimated street value of £142,000 were recovered, along with more than £2,000 in cash.
A 39-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the recovery and is expected to appear at Lanark Sheriff Court at a later date.
Sergeant Greig Baxter from the Divisional Alcohol and Violence Reduction Unit said: "We are committed to tackling the supply of controlled drugs in Lanarkshire and pro-actively target the individuals intent on causing harm to our local communities.
