Appeal for information following break-in to supermarket, Hawick
Police in the Borders are appealing for information following a break-in to a supermarket in Hawick.
The incident took place around 3.10am on Saturday, 3 July, 2021, at Morrisons supermarket on Mart Street, where a man forced entry into the store and stole a quantity of razor blades, children's clothes, hedge trimmers and a barbeque.
The man is described as in his 40s, of medium build and was wearing dark clothing including a face covering.
Detective Sergeant Jamie Gilmore, of Galashiels CID, said: "We are appealing to members of the public who may have information in relation to the break in at Morrisons supermarket in the early hours of this morning.
“I would also ask those who were in the area around the time of the incident and have any dashcam footage that may assist with our investigation to get in touch.”
