Appeal following serious road crash on A93, outside of Peterculter
Road Policing officers in Aberdeen are appealing for information following a serious road crash on the A93 outside of Peterculter.
The incident happened around 12.40am on Saturday, 31 July, around one mile after the Rob Roy Bridge. A grey Audi A6 was found on its roof and had caught fire.
Emergency services attended and one man, aged 18, was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary with life-changing injuries. A 27-year-old man was taken to hospital with serious injuries and a 19-year-old man was taken for treatment to minor injuries.
The road was closed to allow officers to carry out enquiries and remains closed whilst the road surface is being repaired.
Road Policing Sergeant Chris Smith said: "We continue to investigate the circumstances of the crash and it is important we establish exactly what happened at the time of the crash and in the moments leading up to it.
"If you witnessed the crash and have yet to speak to officers, please get in touch. If you were driving in the area before 12.40am and saw a car matching this description, please also come forward. We would like to speak to anyone who has dash-cam or CCTV footage which assist with our investigation."
