Appeal after two men assaulted in Peebles
Officers in Peebles are appealing for information following an incident in the Old Town area which left two men with injuries.
The incident took place around 5pm on Wednesday, 30 June, near to the Cuddy Bridge. Enquiries have established that the two men, aged 46 and 55, were assaulted by another man, who then left the area on a pedal bike, in the direction of Greenside.
The suspect is described as being a white man, with dark hair, wearing a white long-sleeved top, denim jean shorts and black trainers.
Constable Jake Gibson said: “We’re appealing for anyone with information on this incident to come forward. We’re particularly interested in speaking with anyone who saw a man with a pedal bike in the Old Town or Greenside area yesterday afternoon or evening.”
